Marye's Heights Sharpshooters

. During the battle many Confederate sharpshooters used this house to pick off the Union soldiers trapped on the plain below Marye's Heights.

There were thousands of Union ranks caught between the town and the heights.

. This is the only portion of the original stone wall along the sunken road on Marye's Heights that is still here today!

It is about 3-4 feet high.
